Pick the Pack Mat if you want the lightest, most packable option. Pick the Overland Mat for rough ground and truck beds. Pick the Stash Mat for sidelines and picnics, when you want a carry bag built in.

The Stash Mat Large is 2.6 lbs, and the Overland Mat is 3.85 lbs.
If it’s going in a bag or on a trail, go Pack Mat.
Need something even smaller? The Pack Mat Micro is 0.7 lbs.
Spot clean only. Shake it off, spray or wipe it with a wet cloth, and hang it to dry. Do not machine wash a Rumpl mat or put it in the dryer.
The Pack Mat has a 20K waterproof bottom, and the Overland Mat has a 10K waterproof canvas bottom. The Stash Mat is water-resistant top and bottom, so it sheds damp grass and sand but isn’t waterproof. Every mat’s top is water-resistant, so spills bead up, but standing water will soak in.
The Overland Mat. Its canvas ground layer has a “Commercial Duty” wear rating (40,000+ cycles), so it can handle gravel, truck beds, ski boots, and dirty dogs.
The Pack Mat and Stash Mat are great for parks, beaches, and sidelines, but if rough ground is your regular spot, go Overland.
The Overland Mat has our densest padding (180 g/m²), and it helps keep the mat from slipping when you move around on it.
The Stash Mat has lighter recycled padding (120 g/m²) for comfort on the ground.
The Pack Mat isn’t padded, so it’s a ground cover, not a cushion.
Most Rumpl mats cover one adult, and there are bigger and smaller options too.
They both have the same 20K waterproof bottom and a water-resistant top, but are built for different jobs. The Micro is for quick stops, and the Pack Mat is for lounging.
