Details

Meet the softer side of outside. The Fleece Puffy Blanket is Rumpl’s coziest and warmest puffy blanket, featuring a buttery-soft fleece liner with anti-static and anti-microbial treatments, a weather-resistant VersaWeave™ 30D ripstop shell, and RenewaLoft™ recycled insulation.

Now in Midnight Bloom, featuring rich purple, gold, and ivory florals bursting across a dark canvas, balanced by a smooth cream white flip side. Made for the adventurer who refuses to compromise on comfort, the Fleece Puffy takes everything you love about the Original Puffy Blanket—versatility, durability, and warmth—and adds a plush fleece liner. Built-in details like the hands-free Cape Clip®, paracord corner loops, and an easy-carry roll-top stuff sack mean it’s designed to move with you from indoors to outdoors and deliver comfort when it’s time to kick back.

Common questions about the Fleece Puffy Blanket

Is the Fleece Puffy Blanket durable enough for outdoor use?

Yes! The Fleece Puffy Blanket keeps the versatility and durability of the Original Puffy, but with the addition of a soft, buttery fleece liner. It has a weather-resistant 30D ripstop shell and RenewaLoft™ insulation for packable warmth. That said, the fleece side isn’t fully water or dirt-proof, so for outdoor adventures, we recommend keeping the VersaWeave™ shell facing down to protect the fleece.

Is the Fleece Puffy water-resistant?

Only the outer shell (non-Fleece side) is treated with a PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR). The fleece liner isn’t water or stain-resistant, so try to avoid spills and wet conditions on the fleece side. While the fleece side isn’t fully water or dirt-proof, you can simply toss the blanket in the washing machine if it does get dirty.

How do I wash my Rumpl?

All Rumpl Puffy Blankets are machine washable. We recommend using a front-loading washing machine on cold with a gentle detergent designed for technical or outdoor gear to help preserve the DWR finish. Hang to dry or tumble dry with no heat (low is OK if you're in a hurry), and skip machines with an agitator.

How do I store my Fleece Puffy Blanket?

The Fleece Puffy comes with an included clip or carry roll-top stuff sack for easy transport and storage. For long-term storage, take it out of the sack now and then to air out and keep the insulation lofted.

What's the difference between the Après Fleece and the Fleece Puffy Blanket?

The Fleece Puffy has a weather-resistant shell for indoor-outdoor use. The Après Fleece is fleece on both sides, built for pure indoor comfort.

How warm is this blanket?

While our Puffy blankets aren't temperature rated, they should keep you plenty warm in 45° weather and above. Need something warmer? Cuddle up with a 2-Person size or layer two blankets.

How do I get it back in the stuff sack?

Stuff it, don't fold it. Push one corner to the bottom of the sack and keep feeding the blanket in by the handful. Pro tip: roll the top 4 times toward the logo before you clip it. Lost or ripped the sack? Replacement Stuff Sacks are available on our site.

What is the Rumpl guarantee?

We have a three year warranty for any manufacturing defect on materials or craftsmanship from the time it was purchased. Send us a note at info@rumpl.mom with proof of purchase and we'll take care of you! Bought it somewhere other than rumpl.mom? Register it on our Warranty page within 30 days of purchase.

How do your 60-day returns work?

We want you to love your Rumpl, so we offer a 60-day returns policy. Not satisfied with your purchase? Start a return from our Returns page within 60 days of delivery and we’ll take care of you. Returns for store credit are free; returns for a refund may be subject to a $15 return fee.

    100% happy with purchase

My 5th(?) Rumpl blanket and my first of the Fleece Puffy. Love the size and weight of this. Have multiple original puffy blankets and my only ever complaint has been the material is very slippery. The fuzzy side really helps hold this blanket in place. I love the RAD design and can’t wait to use this blanket on many adventures over years to come.

    Warm & compact

We purchased this 2-person Rumpl for our travel trailer for the times we are in cold weather without hookups. We just tried it and it was plenty warm! I can also use it as a lap blanket. I like that it can be rolled up with a strap for easy and compact storing. The colorful design is fun too!

    best blanket ever

We started out with one of these- to keep warm while camping- and ended up replacing our comforter in our bedroom with one, and have been swapping other blankets for these. We now have 4 of these amazing blankets. One for home, one for our pup, one for camping/ outdoor use, and an extra. Now, if Rumpl made them even bigger- say to fit our Eastern King, that would be great!!

The Sherpa Puffy is wonderful- so warm, so lightweight, and the synthetic side is quiet and warms up quickly with body heat. Seriously the best blanket ever.

    Sherpa Puffy Blanket

I love the softness, weight and warmth. We have washed and dried it and it’s holding up beautifully! We haven’t taken it camping yet but it keeps you cozy by the fire pit. I will buy another so I don’t have to share.
